Epoxy Resin Coated Steel Bar

Our epoxy coated rebars are manufactured by first abrasively cleaning and heating standard deformed steel bars, then electrostatically applying a dry epoxy powder which melts and cures to form a uniform, tough, and adherent coating. This fusion-bonded process ensures the coating is integral to the bar, resistant to damage during handling, and compliant with the strictest international standards for coating thickness, continuity, and flexibility.

Epoxy Resin Coated Steel Bar Description

This product is the specified solution for reinforced concrete structures exposed to de-icing salts, marine atmospheres, industrial chemicals, or aggressive soils. It provides superior corrosion protection compared to uncoated steel, making it a critical material for sustainable and resilient infrastructure.

Key Advantages:

Superior Corrosion Protection: Creates a physical and chemical barrier against chlorides, oxygen, and moisture.

Extended Service Life: Can multiply the durability of concrete structures by 2-4 times or more in corrosive environments.

Excellent Adhesion & Flexibility: The coating is bonded to the steel and can withstand normal rebar bending (with proper techniques) without cracking or disbonding.

Cathodic Disbondment Resistance: Prevents corrosion from spreading underneath the coating if the steel is exposed at a cut or damage point.
